Wondering...
What's in it?
Mind Tea is made of: Linden (Tilia americana), Damiana (Turnera diffusa), Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica), Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum), Wood Betony (Pedicularis canadensis), Lemon Verbena (Aloysia citrodora), Rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus)
How do I make Mind Tea?
Prepare Mind Tea as a hot infusion! Hot infusions are best for delicate parts of the plant like leaves and flowers. Think of tea made with teabags, this is your basic infusion!! A therapeutic strength tea is using larger amounts of herbs in your infusion and a longer steep time.
To Receive The Best...
- Add 1 tbsp of Gut Tea per 1 cup of water to a mason jar, tea pot or mug
- Pour nearly boiling water over the herbs. Cover vessel with the lid and let steep for 10-15 minutes. Covering the tea with a lid helps retain the herbs’ naturally containing essential oils in aromatics like Lemon Verbena or Damiana!
- Use a mesh strainer to strain the infusion and drink. Enjoy!
How long will this last?
Mind Tea is packed to last you for a month when you drink it several times/week.
Is everything organic?
Yes, everything in Mind Tea is certified organic.
This tea could not have come at a more perfect time: a deliciously bright & warm boost in the middle of a stressful winter season. Highly recommend brewing a daily cup to clearly focus on the benefits of intentional self care.
I call this my “Busy Mind Tea”. It feels different to me throughout the seasons. I find that Mind Tea, served over ice and lightly sweetened with locally sourced honey, is the perfect caffeine free pick-me-up. The blend of highly aromatic herbs creates a slightly spicy and invigorating flavor profile. It's both refreshing and mentally stimulating, making it ideal for combating the sluggishness that can sometimes accompany long, hot summer days.
In contrast, Mind Tea in the winter, brewed hot, offers a comforting and grounding experience for me during the colder, darker (sadder) months. The warm, earthy flavors evoke a sense of security and tranquility.
Regardless of the season, I always take a moment to inhale the aroma of this tea in particular. The scent itself is a therapeutic experience, offering a complex blend of scents. It's a sensory cue that helps me transition into a more mindful and present state.
This tea is soothing with a rich deep taste. My top favorite tea, for sure.
We're so thrilled it's soothing you! Yum! Thank you, Margaret!
